Best Indian Outlets for Trustworthy NEWS on Operation Sindoor and India Pakistan Conflict of 2025

The entire NEWS scenario right now feels like a big mess right now. Nobody knows what’s right and what’s wrong. The more you get, the less you have. Both Pakistani and Indian NEWS sources across cable, YouTube, and otherwise share at least some fake NEWS intentionally or unintentionally.

In this article, I will share the most credible NEWS source that you can actually trust. I am talking about the sources which do not share fake NEWS for the sake of likes, revenue, and TRP.

By following these channels, you can find the most accurate information regarding Operation sindoor, India-Pakistan Conflict, and the current status of the variation.

We are in the era of information warfare. A single social post can ignite social conflicts, false news can set a false alert, and unrest in society can ensue. A credible news source is the source to a stable society.

Unfortunately for India, we are not that good in information warfare, and many of our local NEWS sources sucks and that’s not a surprise, we have known it for years. They fabricate false narratives just for the sake of TRP and revenue.

It is your responsibility to understand and research whether the news is true or false.

There are many simple methods to check whether the NEWS is fake or not. Using credible sources, invert search tools, and cross angle match, you can find out if the NEWS is correct or not.

Here are some methods that will help you find out whether the NEWS are fake or not –

One of the hot spots of information warfare is X or Twitter. Many fake NEWS and footage are being shared on the platform. To check whether the NEWS is fake or not, look for multiple angles of the same NEWS. Often when a attack happens, multiple people or NEWS outlets in the vicinity make the videos or take pictures of it. Having the multiple footage of same incident may suggest the authenticity of the NEWS. However, it can still be an old NEWS.

An Example of Fake report on X

For example, earlier this week, we had footage of a massive attack circulating on social media, which was actually from Gaza but was shown as the attack on Pakistan. There was just one footage of that incident, and it was fake. On the other hand, we had multiple angles of attack on the Pakistan’s Nur Khan airbase on the night of 9-10 May, which makes it a bit credible(still we can not be assured until official clarification from MEA).

Probably the most foolproof method to identify the fake NEWS yourself is via the reverse image search. If you see any footage or image on social media or the news that might seem suspicious, you can use the reverse image search to identify its credibility.

You can take the screenshot or snip the video thumbnail, or use the image share with the NEWS and run a reverse image search on Google for it. Google will most likely find all matching image to yours, and you can see it the image is recent or if someone is using an image from a past incident to create fake NEWS.

Do not trust everything you see on social media and the news channel. Only use the official government websites like the Ministry of External Affairs, Press Information Bureau, and official briefings from the government of India.

Indian Army’s official websites are also credible. However, they do not put the press releases release to the missions due to security reasons. Government-run NEWS channels like DD India are also a good source to find the correct NEWS.

Now let us talk about the best NEWS sources that you can trust for the correct information.

First, we have the Official PIB or Press Information Bureau of India. They are regularly publishing updates related to the current status of the war. There is a separate wing of PIB called PIB Fact Check which is active on X. This wing’s sole purpose is to check the authenticity of the NEWS related to the current Indo-Pak Escalations and fact-check them. You can also contact them on WhatsApp or via E-Mail.

Another full-proof source is the Ministry of External Affairs. The MEA provides regular transcripts of all the NEWS. You can access them via this link.

NEWS Outlets like ANI NEWS, Firstpost, and DD NEWS are also great sources for authentic NEWS. Millions of Indians are regular viewers of these outlets.

Among all the channels, people often forget about one of the best sources to get authentic NEWS. And that is the local NEWS channels and Papers. NEWS Papers like Rajasthan Patrika and Dainik Bhaskar are some of the best examples of NEWS papers that provide authentic information to the public. They have reporters on the ground in the districts, who provide real-time data to the public.

You can also watch Chanakya Dialogues by Major Gaurav Arya on YouTube. His analysis gives you a great perspective of the situation, and it’s fun to watch. ЁЯШЙ

Thanks for reading! Please stay safe at home and make sure to not trust any NEWS you see online. Trust the official sources only. If you have any doubts or queries, you can send them to the PIB Fact Check Wing on WhatsApp or email.
