However, only few hours after this agreement, Pakistan has violated the ceasefire and launched attacks in Jammu and Kashmir via air.

In an official live video briefing by Mr. Vikram Misri, the Foreign Secretary of India, has asked Pakistan to take appropriate steps to follow the ceasefire violations.

In the meantime, the Indian armed forces are giving a befitting reply to the ceasefire violation to Pakistan.

Yes, it is now confirmed by the Ministry of External Affairs that Pakistan has indeed violated the ceasefire agreement. Pakistani armed forces have launched multiple attacks across Jammu and Kashmir, which were successfully countered by the Indian army.

There is no official declaration of war from either India or Pakistan. However, tensions are at the highest point since the Kargil war. If the situation persists and Pakistan keeps on attacking India, there might be an all-out war.

The ceasefire is a temporary truce between two countries at war. A ceasefire does not mean the end of the conflict. It just halts the attacks on either side till further notice. During the ceasefire, high-level officials held meetings to find solutions of the cause of war and try to find a middle ground.

No, India has not violated the proposed ceasefire. However, it is giving a befitting reply to the Pakistan’s violation of the ceasefire across the border.
