In this article, I will share the key points from the MIA Live press briefing of 10 May 2025 at 10:30 AM. In this brief, the foreign press secretary, Mr. Vikram Misri, who was also the speaker, along with his colleagues Colonel Sofiya Qureshi and Wing Commander Vyomika Singh, explained the incidents of 9-10 May. Shri Randhir Jaiswal was the Official Spokesperson of the briefing.
The briefing also clarified India’s current stance on Pakistan’s provocation across the border, along with the retaliatory steps from India, damage done to both sides, and finally, it debunked lots of fake NEWS and propaganda of Pakistani NEWS outlets and social media.

Pakistan’s provocative attacks across the border
Pakistan has continued its provocation across the border. Pakistan has launched multiple attacks using drones, missiles, UCAP drones, fighter jets, and heavy artillery. The Pakistan army has targeted both civilian and military infrastructures across the western border states of India.
Pakistan tried to enter the Indian border from 26 different positions across the Western Indian border.
The air force stations in Udhampur, Adampur, Pathankot, Bhuj, and Bhatinda were targeted as well. In these attacks, minor damage is reported to personnel and infrastructure. Pakistan used high-speed missile at around 1:40 AM to target an airbase station in Panjab.
Across Srinagar, Udhampur, and Avantipur, Pakistan targeted Schools and Medical facilities. During the attacks on civilian infra, one family in Firozpur was injured.
Heavy exchange of artillery mortars and small arms fire in Kupara, Baramula, Punch, Rajari, and Akur sectors continued. Mr speaker also confirmed that In the early morning of 9-10 May, the additional district development commissioner of Rajouri, Mr. Raj Kumar Thapa was killed.
Pakistan Army build-up is constantly increasing across the border.
India’s Response to Pakistan’s Attacks
In response the Pakistan’s attack on, the Indian army has responded to Pakistan in an orderly and powerful way. Indian armed forces attacked and destroyed Military installations, radars, Pakistani drones, missiles, and weapon storage areas at Rafiqi, Murid, Chaklala, Rahim Yar Khan, Sukkur, and Chunya. In these attacks air air-launched weapons and fighter jets were used.
Using a fighter aircraft and air-launched precision munitions, the Indian Air Force dismembered a radar site in Pasrur along with the aviation base of Sialkot.

Pakistan has used the civilian aircraft taking off from Lahore as a shield to hide its activities. India has condemned this misuse of International Civilian Airspace. India has also ensured the civilian safety during its operations.
Rebuttal of Pakistani Fake NEWS in MEA Press Briefing Today
During the briefing, the speakers has also debunked various fake NEWS and propaganda spread by Pakistani NEWS outlets and social media users. Here are some noteworthy points –

At the end of the briefing, some videos and images were shared of the Indian army destroying military installations of Pakistan across the border, as well as the debunking of Pakistan’s false claims of targeting Indian air bases and air fields.
